Artemis Simopoulos is president of the Centre for Genetics, Nutrition and Health in Washington DC. She chaired the Nutrition Coordinating Committee of the National Institutes of Health for nine consecutive years and served as a nutritional advisor to the Office of Consumer Affairs at the White House. She is also the editor in chief of the World Review of Nutrition and Dietetics.
