Most people think it is the Inflammation is a problem. In reality, it is also your body’s emergency response team, repair crew, and security system rolled into one.
The real question is not is inflammation bad? but when does it turn against you?
In this live webinar, internationally recognised researcher Philip Calder, Professor of Nutritional Immunology at University of Southampton, will guide you through the hidden logic of inflammation and reveal why understanding it could transform how you think about diet, aging, chronic disease, and health strategy.
What You’ll Learn
Most information online is either oversimplified, exaggerated, or flat-out wrong. This session cuts through the noise and shows you:
- Why inflammation is essential for survival and what happens when it fails to switch off
- How everyday foods can quietly influence inflammatory processes after every meal
- The surprising connection between inflammation, aging, metabolism, and long-term disease risk
- Where omega-3 fatty acids fit into the picture and why scientists are so interested in them
You will not just hear conclusions. You will understand the mechanisms that lead scientists to them. That distinction changes everything.
Who Should Attend
Clinicians, researchers, nutrition professionals, students, and intellectually curious minds who enjoy questioning assumptions and following evidence wherever it leads.
